COVID-19 Response & Update

We understand that many of our guests and owners may have questions revolving around the uncertainty with COVID-19 and the protocols our team has taken to address these concerns. The safety and security of our guests and owners is our number one priority. Below are the guidelines we are following to make sure everyone is safe

Local Ordinance Information

Short term rentals in Summit County are officially allowed to operate as of June 1st, 2020 with some restrictions:

  • Owners/Managers must place a Physical Distancing Protocol form inside each property. This document provides information about safety measures we’ve taken to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

  • Owners/Managers must provide outreach and signage, as well as appropriate space configuration to ensure at least 6 feet of physical distancing for guests, employees and anyone who enters lodging properties (including construction workers, maintenance, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, etc).

  • Guests, employees, vendors, suppliers, will be required to wear masks or facial coverings in common areas indoors and anywhere that 6 feet of physical distancing can’t be maintained.

  • Signage shall be posted for the benefit of employees, guests in compliance with the minimum requirements of the Summit County Public Health Order.

  • Self-certification, and health screenings shall be required to ensure that no one who is ill is allowed to enter our properties.

  • Guests shall be advised of their responsibilities to wear a mask, physically distance, wash their hands and practice good hygiene, report symptoms and stay home when they’re sick.

  • As of 11/20/20, Summit County requires that we must confirm the identity of
all renters upon arrival to ensure all individuals are arriving from the same residence, as required by CDPHE PHO 20-36. We encourage all of our guests to follow this guideline.

Cleaning and Housekeeping

We have overhauled our cleaning operation to ensure that we do our best to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 by:

  • Cleaning/Disinfecting shall be done following CDC guidance.

  • Frequent, thorough and scheduled cleaning and proper disinfecting of all high touch areas required.

  • Discontinue housekeeping services during guest stays to prevent transmission between rooms.

  • Ensure all hard surfaces and high-touch areas are completely disinfected with an EPA-registered chemical disinfectant when cleaning guest rooms.

  • Providing all guests with disinfectant wipes.

  • Daily temperature test of employees to evaluate health.

  • Ensuring all team members and contractors wear PPE at all times
